Description – Life is a social awareness shortfilm about passive smoking.
My Role – Director.
Experience – Life is my first ever independent work as a Director, it was done as an awareness campaign for a hospital. I learned how to cope and deal with an entire crew and also some of the actors were hospital staffs with no acting experience, and as a director I had to take extra efforts in order to direct them and make a scene convincing. This was also the first time I worked with a child artist who had no experience in acting. I was also actively involved throughout the process including the post production-Editing/Colouring, choosing the appropriate kind of transitional cuts and music and also this was the first time I was involved in the dubbing process,it was a challenging experience because none of the actors were experienced in dubbing. Filming life is when I learned a lot ,both technically and about the effort that goes behind making a film and moreover this project helped me realize my true passion for filmmaking.
