Description – The Golden walkway is a Musical /Dance based campus movie, inspired from true incidents. This movie was shot within a college campus with majority of its cast being students from the same campus.
My role – Associate Director.
Experience – Filming Golden walkway was a very lively and youthful experience as dealing with young aspiring actors required lots of energy and dedication especially because it was shot live whilst on going cultural fest and we had to be extra careful because a retake would’nt have been possible. As an associate director my duty was to keep in check and track the production schedule, helping with daily call sheets, maintaining the cast and crew. Because the film required a wide number of actors, I also had to audition and shortlist cast members. Golden walk way revolves around lives of students and the events that occur in their college during a cultural fest, there were a lot of choreographed dance performances involved and I was incharge of conducting rehearsals and I also had to hold meetings with the cast members to make sure that performances don’t slip away from the original vision of the movie, and that actors stay true to their characters. Overall filiming Golden walkway was a very fun and energy consuming process as there was a huge number of cast and a vast production involved throughout the process. To be able to be a part of a project this big was a huge fulfillment for me career - wise
